About Us
Tree of Life Ministries was founded originally in April 1976 and voted to become non-denominational in June 2022.
We put a strong emphasis on expository preaching in our services and believe Scripture is the inerrant and infallible Word of God
(2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
We believe Scripture is our final authority for all doctrine and practice. We also affirm the tenets of the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed (381 A.D.), and the Abstract of Principles (1858).
About our Pastor
Pastor Eric was called to pastor Tree of Life Ministries in May 2011. He was born and raised in the Dayton, Ohio area and has lived here most of his life, with the exception of nearly a decade in Southeastern Kentucky.
He married his beautiful wife, Kelly in June 2001. They have one son named Carson.
Pastor Eric holds a B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies magna cum laude from Regent University and a MTS in Biblical Counseling and a MDiv from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also holds a ThM in Practical Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is currently pursuing a PhD in Christian Preaching with Dr. Hershael York serving as his supervisor.
In his spare time, Pastor Eric likes to read, watch movies and sports (Who Dey), bake, take long walks, and spend time with his beloved family.
What Should I Wear?
It's not uncommon to see a wide mix of clothing styles during our services ranging from suits and ties, to business casual, to jeans. Our atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed, but also reverant.
